Welcome to Glenwood Elementary School! I believe that all students are curious and capable of learning. Listed below is the heartbeat of our school, which we revisit often as a school community.
I am very proud of our hard working and dedicated staff. Our school has been featured in two professional learning books, Comprehension and Collaboration and The Curious Classroom, which have been used by teachers across the country.
A Bit About Me:
I graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 1995 and then taught elementary school in Stevens Point from 1995 – 2001. I received my master’s degree in Education in 1998 from UWSP as well. I then moved closer to my family and started teaching 6th grade Math and Literacy at Templeton Middle School from 2001-2013. After 18 years of teaching, I went back to school and earned my Administration license as well as my Director of Instruction license. I am currently in my fifth year as the principal of Glenwood Elementary. I am married to Becky, the principal of Waukesha North High School. I have three children, Cameron (5th grade), Brooke (2nd grade), Paige (1st grade) as well as two dogs.
